Let’s be honest.
Any halfway competent SAT tutor with a few months experience, every employee of every test prep company, understands the material on the test and can explain it ad nauseam. Most of them understand the test taking methods and can explain them, too.
But they don’t really understand their students.
That’s why a recent study by the National Association for College Admission Counseling revealed that most people who pay for SAT prep raise their scores only in the neighborhood of 30 points.
